Jammu: In another suicide incident that broke out in Jammu and Kashmir, the body of BJP leader Som Raj was found hanging from a tree in Kathua district. Kathua SSP RC Kotwal said the incident happened in Hiranagar. The SIT was formed. A 4-member council of doctors was formed for the autopsy. The FIR will be recorded, the investigation is ongoing. We will investigate the cause of death.

The villagers found the body hanging from a tree, after which the police were notified. It is said that there were bloodstains on the body. According to the police, Som Raj had been missing for 3 days, but the family had not filed a complaint. The family alleged that he had been murdered. He demanded justice from the government.
Union Minister Jitendra Singh tweeted: “Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our former colleague and senior leader of BJP Shri Som Raj (Soma) at Hiranagar, Kathua District. May God rest his After receiving this news, many BJP leaders reached Som Raj’s residence and demanded an investigation into the matter of his death.
This is not the first time a BJP leader has been targeted in Jammu and Kashmir. According to media reports, more than 23 BJP leaders and workers have been killed in the valley over the past two years.
Another incident in Kathua
Another incident also occurred in the Billawar of Kathua. Here, an SPO killed his wife. SSP RC Kotwal said an unfortunate incident happened in Bilawar. Here, one of our SPOs killed his wife. An FIR has been registered against him. A special investigation team has been formed under the leadership of SDPO Billawar. The accused has not yet been arrested. He flees after the murder.
